End of the Year Events

Assalaamu ‘Alaikum ISBUers,

With the academic year coming to a close, come attend some last few exciting events with ISBU before finals:

1. Walk for Hunger 2011
The Islamic Society of BU is collaborating with the BU Arabic Program by participating in the Walk for Hunger, for our last community service event of the semester!

Each year, on the first Sunday in May, Project Bread creates a mobile city for over 40,000 friends who roar forth, rain or shine, to help the hungry. These Walkers — along with their donors and Volunteers — help fund over 400 emergency food programs throughout the state. (projectbread.org)

There are many ways to get involved! If you can’t walk the 20-mile route, sponsor the team by donating, volunteer, or just spread the word.(http://www.projectbread.org/site/PageServer?pagename=getinvolved_main)
