ISBCC: Beginning of Guidance

By Allah’s permission and enabling, the Boston community will be starting a new halaqa, or study circle, on Sunday, the 25th of September, at 3PM in the cafe at the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC). The course, provided through SeekersGuidance and their SeekersCircle initiative, will be an eight-week study of Imam al-Ghazali’s “Beginning of Guidance.” This is a unique and blessed opportunity to study a fundamental book on taqwa (God-consciousness) by one of the true giants of the Islamic scholarly and spiritual tradition.

These study circles are open to all, and are **completely free**. One only needs to acquire the book (it’s widely available online, through Amazon, Islamic Bookstore, and Firdous Books) and attend the classes, inshaAllah. For those of you on Facebook, please check out the event page for this class, and add yourself as “Attending”. The details of the event, as well as links to the bios of the teachers, are on the facebook page.

InshaAllah, lets all take advantage of the blessing of gathering upon sacred knowledge, and thereby illumine our hearts and our communities.
